The HyperXCLR unleashes the power of database and application servers; while processing horsepower has continued to improve, the IO capabilities of standard storage devices have not, creating a performance gap in high performance computing systems. The HyperXCLR fills this performance gap as a high performance IO storage appliance, the HyperXCLR appears to the system as a hard disk with unlimited supply of cache memory.

Compatibility
Setup and use of the HyperXCLR is a snap, the HyperXCLR appears as a standard hard disk to all operating systems, users can easily add the HyperXCLR to the system. Connect the HyperXCLR directly to database or application servers or connect into SAN and share the HyperXCLR with multiple servers. Infinitely scalable, add more HyperXCLRs as user requirements grow.

Reliability
Dual redundant batteries combined with a mechanical disk provide Non-Volatile data retention system in the event power is removed from the HyperXCLR. Dual Fibre Channel connections provide failover data paths. Hot swappable dual redundant power supplies for maximum uptime.
